About Ninnie
Ninnie Baird (1901–1961) founded Mrs. Baird’s Bread in 1908 after moving from Tennessee to Fort Worth, Texas. She built the bakery into one of Texas’s largest, expanding it nine times by 1928, and led the family‑run business until her death at age 92.
