Oscar Overton is the co‑founder of The Cheesecake Factory. He and his wife, Evelyn Overton, moved from Detroit to Los Angeles in 1972, opened The Cheesecake Factory Bakery, and later helped launch the first Cheesecake Factory restaurant in Beverly Hills in 1978.
