About Chuck
Chuck Woodstock founded Woodstock’s Pizza, opening the first location in 1977 near Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. He created a student‑oriented pizzeria known for its hand‑tossed dough, unique folded‑over crust, and zesty marinara sauce, and later partnered with Mike Chew to expand the brand. He died in a private plane crash in 1985.
