Jimmy Flowers was the co‑founder of White Swan Bar‑B‑Q and Fried Chicken, opening the restaurant in 1930 with his brother Percy Flowers. He helped build the original restaurant and ten cabins, and later served on the local school board.
Jimmy Flowers Jr. is the son of Jimmy Flowers, one of the original founders of White Swan Bar-B-Q and Fried Chicken. He served on the school board for many years and recalled living in one of the restaurant’s cabins for two years to help his father and uncle run the business.
