About Stanley
Stanley W. Black was the board chairman of Bryson City Bank and led the bank throughout its entire tenure in the Everett Street building. He organized the bank with D.K. Collins and others, helped the bank survive the early 1930s financial crises, and oversaw its merger with Northwestern Bank in 1958.
