Reverend Clinton Greene served as pastor of St. Charles First Baptist Church, Southern Baptist Convention, beginning in 1931. He was appointed by the church committee on the third Sunday in October 1931, moved to St. Charles in March 1932, and oversaw the purchase of a lot and construction of the church building, which was dedicated on October 20, 1946.
