About Dan
Dan Soares Sensei studied Jōdō from 1991 under Nishioka Sensei in Tokyo, also trained with Mitsuyama Sensei, and later with Joe Cieslik Sensei upon his return to the U.S. He led the Frederick, Maryland Dōjō for nearly 20 years before moving to the Shenandoah Valley, where he teaches Jōdō in Edinburg, VA.
