About Mike
Mike McGarvin is the founder of Poverello House in Fresno, California. After a transformative experience volunteering at a San Francisco coffee house in the 1960s, he began serving the homeless in Fresno by handing out peanut‑butter sandwiches and eventually established Poverello House to provide meals, shelter, and social services to the community.
