About William
Rev. William Henry Tyler was the first pastor of People's Union Baptist Church, leading the initial meetings held at members' residences and overseeing the church’s founding on October 27, 1929. He served until his health began to fail, after which pastoral leadership passed to Rev. Harrison and later Rev. Carter.
