Tara Sawyer

Tara is the Founder, Executive Director, and Parent Coach of Pea Pod Playschool, which she launched in 2015. She holds a degree in Landscape Architecture focused on playground and community spaces and led the design of the Taborspace Playground in partnership with Mt. Tabor Preschool. Tara Sawyer is the Executive Director of the Pea Pod Family Resource Center and serves as President of its founding board of directors. She helped launch the organization, drawing on her experience with the Eastside Family Cooperative, and leads its mission to provide parenting resources, shared childcare, and community support.
