About Shawn
Chef Shawn Cirkiel opened Parkside, Austin’s first gastropub on historic East 6th Street, in 2008, leading the city’s ingredient‑driven, sustainable‑sourcing cuisine and establishing the restaurant as a destination for oysters, steaks, and 6th Street dining.
