Father William Saunders was appointed by Bishop Paul S. Loverde as the founding pastor of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Potomac Falls, Virginia, in 2000. He led the parish from its inception, overseeing the first Mass on August 6, 2000, and guiding the community through the establishment of the church and its facilities.
