About S.p.
Reverend S.P. Fisher served as the second pastor of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church from 1881 to 1894. Prior to his call, he was a licensed minister in Middleburg, VA. During his tenure, the church grew, moved to a new building on New Mountain Road, and he later accepted the pastoral call to Providence Baptist Church in Rhode Island.
