About Jesus
Jesus Ruiz is the co‑founder of Mi Pueblo Mexican Grill. Born in a small town in Mexico, he began his entrepreneurial journey at age ten selling oranges from his family grove. After working in a factory in California and later in a Mexican restaurant in Atlanta, he and his wife Maria opened the first Mi Pueblo Mexican restaurant in Winston‑Salem, NC in 1989.
