About R.h.
Rev. R.H. Holland was a white pastor who, in 1877, provided land for Jack Jones and his sons to establish a church for the black community on Laurel Hill. He later moved the church to a new location beside a laurel tree, where it was renamed Laurel Hill Christian Church.
