About Ralph
Ralph "Jocko" Knotts was the second licensed driver in Nipomo, served as Justice of the Peace, and co‑founded Jocko's Famous Steakhouse. He ran a garage and service station during Prohibition, opened the original saloon/watering hole “Jocko’s Cage” in 1925, and later helped establish the restaurant that bears his name.
