Fr. John Meyendorff, of blessed memory, was instrumental in establishing Holy Trinity Orthodox Church during his 1977‑78 sabbatical from St. Vladimir’s Seminary, when he helped bring together a small group of faithful from Greek and Russian parishes to create an English‑language parish in the Reston‑Sterling, Virginia area.
