About Costas
Costas "Gus" Stavredes immigrated from Greece to the United States in 1921 at age 20, worked in various restaurants and grocery stores to learn the business and English, and in June 1927 opened the Rainbow Inn in Richmond, VA. He later founded Gus's Grill & Bar, which celebrated its 96th anniversary and served the community for many years.
