About Jack
Jack Taylor, a decorated World War II Navy Hellcat fighter pilot who served on the USS Enterprise (CV‑6), founded Enterprise Rent‑A‑Car (now Enterprise Holdings) in 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri. He named the company after the aircraft carrier on which he served and based it on military lessons of honor, respect, integrity, and a customer‑first philosophy.
