About Victor
Victor Ross served as rector of Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Staunton, Virginia, leading the parish through the turbulent 1960s and overseeing the church’s response to racial and political tensions. He guided the congregation during a period of reevaluation and change, including the 1964 declaration that anyone, regardless of race, was welcome at Emmanuel.
