Robert Nelson Crooks (born March 16, 1830, Greenup, Kentucky) was a Methodist Episcopal Church South minister who served as a chaplain in the Confederate Army during the Civil War, later became a circuit minister in Virginia, and was the first superintendent of the Sunday School that became Crooks Memorial United Methodist Church.
