Grover Robbins is a co‑founder of the Beech Mountain Club. He, along with his brother Harry Robbins, purchased land on Beech Mountain in the 1960s, helped establish the Carolina Caribbean Corporation, and played a key role in developing the ski resort and recreational facilities that became the Beech Mountain Club.
