About Art
Art is the founder of Art's Place Bar & Grille in Kitty Hawk, NC. He opened the restaurant in 1978, served breakfast and lunch, and later helped launch the Joy Fund to support local families. He was awarded the Order of the Long Leaf Pine in 2001 and passed away in 2010.
